Board of Directors
SEMA commenced as a family business and remains so to this day. The original owners and directors of SEMA remain its proprietors, also making the company proudly 100% Australian owned.
SEMA has a remarkable record of stability and growth having achieved sustained substantial growth in both profit and size each year for over twenty years. This record has been achieved by paying careful attention to issues such as industrial relations, employee retention rates, equal opportunity and the health and well being of our employees. SEMA is proud of its record in that we have not lost a single day to industrial action since our inception in 1980.

Executive Director
Brent McCulloch
In over 15 years tenure with SEMA, Brent has played a leading hand in almost all our technological and operational advances. He has served in various roles in all our three branches and as General Manager Victoria he oversaw our growth to a leadership position in that market. Brent currently sits on our Board of Directors as an Executive Director.
Brent has a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Executive) from Mt Eliza Business School.
Non-Executive Directors
Peter Davies and Paul Costello
Co-founders Peter Davies and Paul Costello established SEMA (formally known as SecurityMail) in 1980 as pioneers in Australia’s first wave of business process outsourcing. They remain the sole owners of SEMA today.
Initially, armed with little more than shared enthusiasm and a common goal of delivering on corporate mail processing needs, the business took off and is how we evolved to become SEMA today.
Currently both Peter and Paul remain active in the business, particularly in strategic management, through their leadership of the Board of Directors.
